I wanted to let you know what a positive impact the 12 week BMC had on my life and my health.

As an insulin dependent diabetic for over 30 years I really needed to find a program that would cater to my specific needs.

The BMC did just that. Not only did I lose weight and inches, I gained muscle, stamina and energy.

ON TOP OF THAT my daily insulin intake dropped by 10-20% depending on the day and my blood sugar average dropped by

about 10 points. Some days I really thought that my glucose meter was broken- my blood sugars were that good.

I was able to easily follow the nutrition program and triedthings I never thought I would. I was also able to push myself

physically through the awesome workouts that you and the other trainers put together.

Overall I am soooo happy that I did the program.

I look forward to continuing to evolve healthy!

Sharon (April 2012)

I've always worked out, maintained a healthy weight, and eaten my veggies and fruits.
But seven months ago, I was frustrated. At age 58, I just couldn't get my body to respond or improve any more.
I remember thinking, "Well, here it is. My sixties are coming up, and I'm just going to have to deal with my body going 'blooey.'"
I started weight training with Danielle, Anne and Kristie, while continuing to do cardio on my own. I also learned how to eat more cleanly and drink about 80 ounces of water a day.
It's amazing. In seven months my body has added muscle, not lost it. I've got the energy of a thirty year-old.
What's even more important are the changes on the inside of my body. I have blood work done every six months, because I am genetically at risk for both heart disease and type two diabetes.
My doctor was amazed. My total cholesterol dropped in six months from 187 to 153. The HDL (my good cholesterol) rose significantly, and the LDL (the bad kind) dropped--so I have a below average risk of heart attack. My triglycerides were 60,
and fasting glucose was at 88. The only medication I'm on right now is for cholesterol, and I may be able to go off it in the near future.
My thanks to Danielle, Anne, and Kristie for their knowledge, their dedication, and their enthusiasm. It's kind of fun being
a new woman on the inside and outside! Janet Shaw

Hi Danielle,
Thanks for checking my journal.
Though I got blue ribbons and “Great Progress” stamps I would like to do better in coming weeks.
In the first week of BMC I thought it will be tough for me to change my eating habits and what I eat.
Not that I could not control myself but the array of Indian food we cook and eat at home.
My wife shops & cook 100% of the time and did not wanted to add extra work on her to cook separate healthy food with an infant around.
But it was really amazing to see my wife started to change her cooking and shopping habits the 2nd week I was in BMC.
She started grilling meat, cook more sea foods. Makes brown rice in place of Basmati rice.
For the first time she made asparagus in herbs. Many more to come hopefully … (:-
This is truly amazing and the change that I like.
I would like to give FULL CREDIT of my clean journal to 2 girls:
-My RD,CFT &
-My wife Noorus.
Thanks a lot.
Liyakat.

Hope you are well! I participated in the Body Challenge a few years ago, and am still changed by the experience. I wish you all the best.

November 2011

I am wearing a shirt that I wore for a Hikoga a year ago. I was skating 4 times a week & eating clean in what I thought was a healthy pattern.
Today, the shirt fits so loosely that I have to wear a sports bra to keep it decent. My activity level is "what I can do" because of my healing break. Anyone who doubts the nutrition benefits of BMC needs to let this be a lesson!
November 2011

Today you said my butt looks smaller. I feel really good and I feel so much better about myself, more self confidence! Even when the 12 week run is over I'm going to keep it up! And I'm going to try my hardest to keep it up when I go on my vacation, good thing is I will be able to cook for the first week I'm there. Everyone is doing so well! WEOOOOO!!!!!!!

Donna was asked "what did you learn from the 12 week BMC?"
I discovered that it is ok not to be perfect and if I slip once in awhile just get back on track the next day (or meal). I discovered that it took awhile for me to gain the weight that I did and it will take awhile to lose it. I discovered that I must be patient with my body and as long as I continue to eat right and exercise, that it will come off in time and not to be discouraged. I think the most important lesson I learned is to do everything in moderation. The lesson I learned is that this challenge is a way of life – my way of life – and that just because the challenge is over, doesn’t mean that the challenge is over. Its time to continue what I’ve learned with regards to eating and exercise. I will not try to kill myself to make every exercise class, I will not be obsessive, but I will try to do the most that I can. I know in order to be healthy I not only have to eat right, but I also have to work out. I can’t do one without the other. Exercise is a very integral part of staying healthy and living a longer life and this is something that I want to continue to do. I know I can do it. I can see myself in that gown at my daughter’s wedding and I see myself thinner than I’ve been in a long time AND healthier. That is the new me! Donna (April 2011)

Hi Danielle,
I just thought I would drop you a line to tell you that I had the operation and all is going as planned. The operation was completed and I was sent home on Sunday afternoon just in time to greet the Trick or Treaters for Halloween. It is amazing what they can do these days! Now I just have to endure two weeks with a Foley Catheter and I think I’ll be really on my way to recuperation. I think I told you I was having a radical prostatectomy via DaVinci Robotic surgery. This is an amazing device that allows the doctor to operate on you in a laparoscopic way. Unfortunately, I never got to see the robot because I was knocked out long before I got to the operating room. However, this device allows the doctor to view and operate on you from a nearby computer console. He sees everything brightly illuminated in 3D and magnified. I get 4 incisions about ½” long plus one about 2” plus an abdomen inflated with CO2. There’s minimal blood loss hence I needed no transfusions of blood. Some people I know who had the operation the previous way needed up to 3 pints of blood. Here’s the part that should make you happy. Because I have been practicing Yoga, my abdominal muscles are in decent condition. Following surgery the doctor came to check on me in my hospital room. After greeting me he advised that my abdomen would be very puffy for a few days because of all the gas that was used to inflate me. As he pulled down the blankets to examine me he exclaimed “Well look at you! You’re not puffy at all!” Later on the nurse brought in a Spiro meter for me to use to exercise my lungs. You inhale through this tube and a float indicates the number of ml you inhale. She brought it in with a pointer set at 750 ml and told me to inhale and see if I could bring the float up that high. She didn’t quite finish her statement though as the float blew past 750ml and went to double that value. Needless to say she was surprised. Ha! All that Yoga breathing paid off. So even though I didn’t know it Yoga was conditioning me for the operation before I even knew I needed to have one.
Thanks! Frank (October 2010)

You have helped my smile again.

Thank you for all that you have done for me. I am transformed...I quit a job (that you and I both know was not a "good fit" for me). I have since relocated to San Antonio, TX and am working for the government in a military general surgery department. I have begun to C.A.R.E again and am making great progress toward becoming the healthy, toned, happy individual I know I can be.
Your guidance, your expertise, your encouragement, your support have been unsurpassed by any weight loss diet or exercise program tried in the past.
Thank you for helping me to be the Biggest Loser/Best Winner by putting me in charge of my choices and not the reverse.
Fondly and with gratitude,

It just feels SO GOOD when I have "a perfect day" - and to feel better and better every day. It's a long road ahead but I'm looking forward to walking it! Even just knowing I'm doign the right things is giving me confidence - even when I'm not there yet. I went out boating with my friend this weekend - in a bathing suit - the first time I've done that in years. I know I'm not perfect, but at least I feel good about myself and what I'm doing. Thank you so much for all of this, and for any advice you can give me to make my 12 week Body Metamorphosis Challenge a SUPER experience. Best wishes, Sarah M (August 2010)
Susan's response to winning the 12 week Body Metamorphosis Challenge #25 (April-July 2010): "Danielle, I'm still trying to come to grips with the phone call I just received from you. I can't believe that I won the BMC!!!!! As you know, I was not convinced that this kind of program was right for me. Seemed a little too strict for my lifestyle. But, after I took the plunge and started seeing results, not just the way I started to look but also how much better I felt, I knew that it was going to be worth it. That I was worth it! I wish that I had found you two years ago. But very happy that I am a "Meta" client now!I am starting to see my old self emerging at last and excited to see what the future "me" will become. I know that even though the BMC is over, I am still and will continue to use everything I hve learned from you. You are a wonderful addition to my life! As I have told you before, you have me forever! Thank you so much for your confidence in me...I couldn't have done it without you!!!!"

Just a quick thank you!!! I am soooo thrilled. I am half way through your wonderful 30 Day REVV program and I have already lost eight pounds! Yes!! ~ I can see my ankles (sounds silly)! I am being diligent about my intake and keeping with the exercise. This really works!! Have a Happy Healthy Fourth of July.

Dear Danielle, I needed to tell you how good I am feeling. I went to the beach yesterday with some friends that I have not seen in a long time. I was actually comfortable enough with myself to wear a bathing suit with these girls. Last year, at this time, I would not have gone. Had a wonderful day!
Then when I got home, I ran around putting flowers and candles everywhere. When my husband returned home, I greeted him in a negligee that I haven't worn in about 3 years. Needless to say, he was a happy boy. I felt the need to tell you all of this. I know that I still have a lot of work to do, but I am so ready to keep going. The BMC has been a wonderful program for me, and even when it is over, I will continue to live my life like this. I love you, Kristie and all the classes, so you have me forever!!!!" THANK YOU!!!!!! (June 2010)

Hi Danielle, I just wanted to tell you the results from my latest blood test. My A1C was 6.3 and my total cholesterol was 194. My triglycerides were 122. This is all without drugs. Thank you. Susan

Danielle,
Took me awhile to make the connection but it finally made sense this morning! I decided to try on what I consider my "skinny" pants that were uncomfortably tight in December. They fit and along with all the other stuff in my closet that falls into that category I will soon have a new wardrobe!!! So... even though I weigh more than I do when I have been at my "thinnest" - because I am losing inches my clothes still fit and I have muscles!!! It feels healthier weighing more with musle than being too thin with no energy and not exercising consistently! Danielle - oops - gym goddess!- you wanted us to get it and I finally get it!!!!! Off to the gym after my pre-workout meal! Hang in there guys!!!!

Hi Danielle,
I am definitely joining second term of BMC. Being a vegetarian whole life BMC taught me how i need to add more protein into my diet and have different Healthy/Clean food group every three to four hours. This keeps me more energetic and satisfied especially later part of the day. Danielle thanks for all your inspiration and your training during the first BMC..
I am truely appreciating and will continue in second BMC..

Once again, Thanks

WOW!!! I was thrilled with my personal accomplishment over the 12 week program. My main goal was to lose my muffin top and upper torso fat and I thought I made progress towards those goals. This is an added bonus. The program also gave me an education on what foods to eat and how to eat for which I will be eternally grateful. (The first two pictures I opened said it all to me!) Now I will keep going; a bit more weight loss, a bit more body fat loss and more toning needed!!
Thanks!
Melanie (May 2010)

Danielle,
Hi. I'm so excited I had to tell you before anyone else....

I had my bloodwork done yesterday morning. As you may recollect when I started at Meta in January my total cholesterol was measured at 280 and my triglycerides were at 331. I came to you because I knew I had to make a lifestyle change and knew I didn't want to be on maintenance medications at the ripe old age of "44". So here are my before and current Cholesterol measurements:

November 2009 May 2010

total chol 280 156
HDL (good) 54 67
LDL (bad) 150 57
Triglycerides 331 152

I am so excited and so pleased with my progress on all levels - thank you!!!!!!

Dear Danielle,

So yesterday some kids were at my house and wanted me to play tag. They assigned teams. The oldest, an 11 year old assigned the teams, labeling fast kids as "fast" and slow kids as "cool". He labeled me cool as well but then my son spoke up and said, "My Mom is fast. She exercises!"

I was extremely flattered and proud that my son thinks of me as a fast runner. Teaching my children through example quickly became a part of the BMC for me. You can't expect kids to embody good health messages unless they see that stuff modeled.

Thank you, Danielle.

Hi Danielle- Today I’m smiling because my calves are killing me…. My lats are screaming at me… my knees are creaking… and I’m wearing a suit I have not worn in 18 months…. Bye bye Prego body- THANK YOU DANIELLE! -Kathleen K (Nov 09)

So, last night, I was awakened by an itch I had in the crook of my upper arm. As I was scratching it, I felt something that I had never felt before. My first thought was 'Oh no! Is that a lump?!'...so, I felt the other arm, in the same place. Much to my surprise, turns out it was not a lump...it was a Muscle!!!!!! COOL!!!

Now that made me smile!!!
Susan P.

Hey, Danielle:

I wore a tight black gown today to dress as a renaissance maiden and many people noticed that I have lost weight. I couldn't have worn this sexy thing before the body challenge.

More importantly, I wanted to tell you that I had NO PAIN in my left calf after yoga last night. That was the first time I was pain free.

THANKS FOR BOTH THINGS.

Terri R (Nov 09)

Since January I have lost 20 pounds and 2 inches on my waist. How did I do it? I eat 2-3 “healthy” meals a week on campus at FW lunch (healthy choices created and presented by you, Danielle), switched to drinking water at all my lunches, and joined your yoga class. I also watched the snacks and portion size at meals. You have helped bring this to us at Foster Wheeler.

Thanks a bunch,

W Campbell (Oct 09)

Hey Danielle:

Thank you for your motivating email! I’ve had a wonderful experience with the BMC. I’ve done more then I ever thought possible. My body is my temple and it is strong! I am thrilled with my results, because I know I got out of it what I put into it, nothing more and nothing less. Therefore, I strive to get the most out of my experience with every day, every workout, and every challenge that I come face to face with. I have you to thank for that. I never before had the ability to get up in the morning and want to start the day…..period. Now I can’t wait to get up in the morning and start the day with awakening my body and giving it the chance to grow stronger with each rep, each workout and each mantra. I take each challenge that comes at me with more confidence then I have ever had. Every meal I eat, I appreciate and enjoy and look forward to without guilt or shame. These 12 weeks have been life changing for me, and I am so grateful for all that I have learned, all that I have experienced and all that I have to look forward to!

Having said that….I would very much like to be a part of the next BMC! I do not have an interest in “competing” for to me, the challenge to myself is enough to keep me motivated. I do not expect to win this challenge, as I mentioned before…I never win anything…but I feel like a winner. The ability to join the next BMC, is in itself, challenge enough, in more ways then one. The cost is manageable!

Allison H (Oct 09)

And then Allison found out she won the BMC (July-Oct 09) season. Here is her response:

I’m still in shock! That is so awesome! Best thing I ever did, no doubt. Highest score EVER??!!! Wow. I am definitely crying tears of joy today….Thank you, thank you, thank you. I just can’t thank you enough.

Wanted to remind you that I wouldn't be there this morning.
I'm doing great though, just crampy.
Wanted to share a little story with you, really soon after the finished to procedure I woke up like a rock star! They brought me sooner into the next step down area.
The nurses were joking with me saying "are you sure you just had surgery"? I got up went to the bathroom and they were shocked at how I bounced back.
The asked me if I worked out and I told them YES and was on a great nutrition plan. They said "that's the reason"!!!
Just wanted to share that with you, maybe you can share it with the group!
THANKS to you!!!!!
Nancy S. (august 09)

Thank you sooo much for thinking of me...you are too much! I LOVE coming to Metamorphosis and working out with you and the rest of the crew! It's been such a blast the past few months getting to know you and all of your other clients! The BMC and Core Maxxx classes have gotten me into the best shape I've been in a long time and I'm so pumped to wear my wedding dress and show off my toned 'chopsticks'! ;)

Thanks again for thinking of me and my upcoming wedding!

For most of my life, I’ve been overweight. Three generations of overweight women in my family would sit around and complain that it’s our genes. But recently, my mother’s generation has begun to experience health issues that are caused or complicated by weight issues. I became concerned for both them and myself. Some of them had begun to consider weight loss surgery and my mother was the first to have it. As I watched her losing the weight, I began to consider it too. But I felt that I couldn’t go through that extreme of a measure without learning how to eat first. I thought I knew, but I kept putting on weight and every magazine contradicted another when it ran an article about what foods were healthy. My head was spinning from all of the diets that everyone praised that cut out food groups, made you eat their foods, or count everything from calories in to number of orange vegetables that you’ve eaten in one day. I was so confused!

But then, I saw the posting for Danielle’s BMC and I figured, “What do I have to lose? It’s cheaper than the surgery!” The closer it got to the start date, the more nervous I became. I considered backing out more than once, but knew I had to do it. I followed the program completely so that I would have no doubts as to whether it worked or not. I spent over an hour wondering my supermarket to find food on the program and experimented with a lot of food. Some of it worked and some didn’t. But I felt different (in a good way) from the beginning. I keep feeling like I am cheating because my stomach isn’t growling all of the time and I am not eating cardboard. After the end of my first 12 week challenge, I knew that I finally had the knowledge to success. I am currently a “work in process” but I’ve lost 58.5 lbs and 5 sizes in less than 6 months!!! It’s likely that Danielle has literally saved my life and I thank her for that.

Susan Fogelberg (February 2009)

I want to thank you for all that you are doing for me. I have lost 68 pounds and it's all because of you and the help of my peers (my exercise buddies), that I have made it this far. Without all of you, I would have given up a long time ago. So, let's bring on another CHALLENGE! I am stoked and ready to achieve my goal weight! -Louise McClure (January 2009)

Since beginning the challenge I do notice a big difference in my body. Years ago I used to run 5k and 10k runs. I haven't been able to do this for years. Since working out, the hurts that I used to have running are not there. Recently I ran my first 5k run in years. My goal is to complete a half marathon in April. Couldn't have done it without the fitness and eating challenge. Also I just wanted to mention that the people I work out with in the AM class are great. They keep me motivated and the classes fun. - Greg

Danielle, we discussed at my midpoint assessment that prior to starting your BMC in September I had been having trouble sleeping. I would often wake up several times in the night, sometimes I would be thirsty or hungry but usually I would just toss and turn. I noticed after just a few days of starting the challenge that I am actually sleeping soundly through the night. I know that sounds like a sleep number bed infomercial ;-) Since I am very active in the summer months I really believe that the clean eating is directly related to my improvement in sleep. I never associated my sleeplessness with my diet!!!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!! Julie Fleck (11/08)

Danielle,
Thank you for a truly LIFE CHANGING 12 weeks! At first I wasn't sure about this, i thought, "let me try something else that I know I'll fail" "Metamorphosis? that will will never happen" "You can do it! No I can't" on and on and on went the negative thoughts. But here I am, The second runner up, WOW! I DID IT!!!!!! To me, it IS a metamorphosis... It is, "I CAN DO IT"... and "I WILL NOT FAIL". These are the thoughts that now fill my head (welling up with tears right now, seriously). You are an amazing person who follows your heart, passion and dreams. By doing that you have touched so many people's lives in so many ways. You are an angel dressed in beautiful butterfly couture!!!!!!- Nancy S.

Hi Danielle:
Just a quick note to let you know how psyched I am. I am SO thrilled with my progress and feel 100% better than when I walked in your studio over 6 weeks ago. It has truly made a difference and changed my relationship with food. For over 25 years I have battled my weight and climbed up and down the scale-- I finally feel like I have the energy and knowledge to make this a way of life. Thank you for helping me make the change. Your support and expertise has been wonderful.

I look forward to a healthy, happy journey!
Georgia

Dearest Danielle,
I don’t know where to begin - I guess it started when I read your ad in the Hunterdon Observer - your smiley face inviting me to join your BMC. I made the phone call and left a message. You called me back - I knew from that moment that this challenge was going to be interesting. I felt your energy through the phone! I was scared and skeptical at first. Then I came in and met you - still a little scared and skeptical. At the introduction meeting I kept thinking to myself, this is hard, I am not sure if I can do it. How can someone eat clean and healthy?? I have been overweight for most of my life and have failed at so many diets before. I was at my lowest point - so I decided to give it a shot. I thought to myself, why not? Maybe this will be the one that works. You were tough - at the meeting, at ShopRite and in the studio - it was a little intimidating but there was something there that I liked. I liked being yelled at, screamed at, being told that my body is a vessel and its strong. I like that you are a BITCH and you don’t take any shit from anyone! I knew this was the one for me - and you reassured me of that at every workout. Your knowledge in the world of food and health is limitless. Words cant explain how you have changed my life-- Dramatically is one word that comes to mind. I am so happy with my results from the BMC. I cant wait to see what results the next BMC brings! Thanks for being you - for believing in me and for helping me believe in myself. You are AWESOME!

Claire

Danielle,
Thank you for the GREAT workout last night. I am feeling stronger each and every day while participating in this Body Metamorphosis Challenge. My clothes fit better and I can see a difference in my body already.

The diet is phenomenal. I feel so good eating this way. My digestive system is not on overdrive.

Who would have thought that something so simple could do so much good for the body.

It is also easy to fit into my lifestyle; even when I go out. Restaurants are very accomodating as long as you ask!! I cannot wait to see my transformation in pictures. The other day, I played 18 holes of golf in extreme heat and humidity. I was not tired; or out of breath and I hit that ball really well. So much so that I have to change clubs because I am hitting the ball farther so I have to make adjustments. Yeah! Linda B

I just wanted to send you a quick note letting you know how amazing the 12 week BTC challenge was. The changes I have experienced are hard to put to words. Although a bit cliché, the best I can come up with is life changing.

You bring so much to the table in every work out or even an occasional email here or there. Your approach is fantastic in that you walk the fine line between caring and encouraging while at the same time a real ass kicker and for that everyone in the program is better for it!

Thanks so much and I look forward to the next program starting up.

Jeff B. (winner of the Foster Wheeler Body Transformation Challenge Feb-May 8008)

I have been steadily gaining weight since my kids were born 17 years ago. I did not like what I saw in the mirror. I wanted to be slim and trim, full of pep and vitality. But here I was - FAT. What happened! I looked (and still look) pretty awful. Over the last few years, I’ve studied and read extensively on nutrition. I know a lot about healthy and unhealthy foods. I exercised ‘occasionally’, but I kept going up. I had issues. I love ice cream, chocolate, etc and ate it regularly. I was not disciplined. I really needed a big motivational push. And then I saw the Metamorphosis sign in early January 08 and it called to me. I joined the 12-week Body Transformation Challenge (BTC) and followed Danielle’s program faithfully. I didn’t really push myself beyond what she asked for. And in the beginning, I even ate more than I was supposed to (you mean only ‘men’ can have 2 slices of bread?). Yet, over the course of 12 weeks, I lost 23 lbs total weight and 18 lbs of body fat (and won the challenge and some fabulous prizes). I’m still 50 lbs away from goal, but I feel so much better. My blood pressure is down to 110/80 (it was always hovering close to 125/something). And Danielle and Kristie are really great: fit, funny, fabulous. What great ladies to work with. I felt they cared. And I know I would not have worked out as hard as I did on my own as I did at Metamorphosis Studio. And I know I would not have reduced my portion sizes on my own (portion sizes was one of my other issues, although usually healthy, I was eating way too much) and given up the unhealthy snacking (there is a weekly cheat meal which I only used on special occasions). This is a lifestyle change. You cannot do this program, lose weight, and go back to how you ate before. There is no point. But once you decide, and commit, you will succeed. Metamorphosis is there to help and guide you. And the beauty of it is, it is not a fad, it is a healthy lifestyle change. Your body will be better on the inside and on the outside. Who wants to lose weight and flab out? That is not attractive. So the healthy eating and vigorous exercise is a really brilliant, if not original, combination. And it is done with pizzazz at Metamorphosis. I loved the experience, the philosophy, and the trainers. It gave me exactly what I needed and helped me to eat and work out smarter. What else can I say? It was effective! It works! And I’m thrilled to no end. I highly recommend the program.

Carol Casale (proud winner of the Jan-Mar 2008 BTC challenge)

In response to Carol Casale's testimony above...
Wow, what a great testimony! Congratulations and continued success. I was the 1st Runner Up and whole heartedly agree with everything you stated. I admit to taking a little break last week (continued working out, though) and I am back on track this week. The great thing is that this "program" is truly a sustainable way to live and eat. I have a goal of an additional 10 lbs by July 1, slow and steady will get me there and keep me there. I will be ready for that bathing suit for my August week at the shore.
Thanks! Jeanne Cassano

The 2008 Feb-April Modified Body Challenge Winner writes:
That's great I won, I'm so excited. Thank you for all your help and guidance. Wanted to let you know I ran the Lehigh Valley Half Marathon yesterday and ran my best 1/2 marathon time ever. The weight loss and strength training had a lot to do with it.
Christine Cameron

About BOOTY CAMP- A strong voice of encouragement and challenge. Honestly, your "tough" style is a big part of the reason why I keep coming back. I could work out in my basement...but I want someone who is going to train me to do the exercise correctly...and is going to challenge me.

Sign me up for the tougher ones! :)

Sarah E.

THANK you for making my day so GREAT. I worked hard and really felt exhausted when I left. You and Kristie are the driving force and I NEED YOU to succeed. I am looking forward to the BTC and getting my rear in gear!! Again, thank you for everything that you do...evolve healthy rules!!
Lynda B

I did the Shop Rite tour with you and since the beginning of February I've lost 20 lbs!! I just wanted to send you a quick THANKS!! Who would have thought healthy eating would be so easy??
Thank you,
Jennifer Coffin

Hi Danielle,
I just wanted to thank you for making such a life lasting difference in my life!I came to you with potato arms, a flabby stomach and a big butt and you inspired me to transform into something I now like looking at in the mirror!

It's awesome to see how many peoples lives you have effected in a positive way just from your commitment to health and exercise. Because of you I will never go back to the unhealthy ways I ate and the random ways I used to work out.
You are the BEST ! :)

Thank you.
Diane G.

Danielle Fryer is a great trainer!
I moved from Los Angeles to New Jersey in June of 2006. In the previous 5 years of living in Los Angeles, I started working out with several trainers at the original Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, modified my diet and lost about 40 pounds while increasing my general fitness, stamina and health. But in the year since I moved to New Jersey, my fitness routine and diet had really deteriorated and I gained back about 20 pounds from the 40 I had lost. I was therefore looking to restart my fitness routine and to try to get back to my previous fitness level.

I was very happy to see an ad in the local newspaper for Metamorphosis Studio’s Body Booty Camp program that ran from May 2007 through September 2007. The price was a real bargain for three times per week group training and the outdoor workouts sounded fun, so I signed up. These workouts were a blast! Danielle provided tremendous encouragement to everyone in the group, from the most fit to the least. She generated a great deal of enthusiasm and motivation, which was especially important to me at the early hour of 6 AM. Half way through the summer, I could feel my strength and stamina beginning to return to my previous levels. But I still hadn’t done anything about my nutrition or diet, so I hadn’t lost any weight. At this point, I was hooked on Danielle’s workouts anyway, so I decided to take the Body Transformation Challenge (BTC) to see what would happen if I got really strict and dedicated to both exercise and nutrition for 12 straight weeks.

Although they moved to indoors at the Metamorphosis Studio, the fun, intensity and challenging nature of the workouts didn’t change – they were still great! But in addition, Danielle provided intense nutritional guidance, including a field trip to the supermarket, training in her “Mindful Clean Plate©™” system, a food journal with motivational items and detailed information to help accomplish a nutritional transformation of the way I eat. Danielle has reviewed the journal periodically during the BTC to provide corrections, additional guidance and support. She has also been constantly accessible via email to answer questions, provide even more motivation and support my transformation.

I am now about 10.5 weeks into the 12 week BTC program. I’ve lost 11 pounds on the scale, but as I’ve learned, absolute weight loss isn’t as important a metric as is percent body fat and the relative loss of fat to gain of muscle. I can tell that my fitness and stamina have increased dramatically since last May when I started at Metamorphosis with Danielle.

As I wrote at the beginning, Danielle is a great trainer! I’ve had experience with several trainers in Los Angeles, including some of the best known at the Gold’s Gym, Venice Beach, which is “The Mecca of Body Building”. Danielle is easily as knowledgeable and qualified as any trainer I’ve encountered. She offers a lot of enthusiasm, is a great motivator, and makes getting fit fun! I would recommend Metamorphosis Studio to anyone who wants to get fit and healthy, and have fun doing it.

*TOUGH* workout today! Thank you, Ma'am, may I have another? Was I groaning too loudly on the mat at the end? More plyometrics! Higher hurdles to jump over! Higher steps to jump onto! -Jonathan K

Looking at this I also want to say how happy I am that you have come back into my life and i feel that we make an awesome team. I love you baby, keep up the good work. Love Shane

On Body Booty Camp 2007-What a great workout this morning! Thank you for all your encouragement that you give to all of us. You are awesome!!! -Kathy K.

My migraines have been INCREDIBLY better since I have started the Nutrition program with Metamorphosis. In the past month, I have only had to take 3 Imitrex pills and usually I average 9 pills in a month(and have been doing so for probably a couple years). I have also been able to start to identify some food "triggers" - red wine, some cheeses, and chocolate. I always felt eating good, drinking lots of water and exercising would help minimize the migraines. And you were the one to get me on the right track. I feel better and stronger and am a much healthier person than I was 2 months ago. Thank you for the motivation and guidance. K. Saxon
My name is Maureen. I was part of the very first Body Transformation Challenge. (BTC) I have been gaining and losing weight my whole life. (I am 47 yrs. old). I had just about resolved myself to the fact that maybe God wanted me to be " over weight ". I had been training with Danielle for some time. I had become a "fit" over weight person. I felt good, just wore big clothes. When Danielle introduced the challenge, I thought, "what the heck", I had tried everything before. I decided to give it one more try, and TOTALLY committed myself to doing and eating everything Danielle suggested. It has been 1 1/2 years. I have lost a total of 45 lbs! It came off fast... then a little at a time. I have gone from wearing an extremely tight size 14 to a size 8-10. It feels so good when I slip on my newly washed jeans and they a on the loose side!

I guess you can say that the BTC changed my life, and I love it!!!! Hope you decide to change your life too.

Sincerely,
Maureen

My name is Karen and I was never thin by magazine standards, but I was always healthy, strong, and fit. Then my 40th birthday passed, and my body became someone else's. It crept up on me and I didn't recognize myself. I couldn't stand to look in a full-length mirror, I hated to shop anymore, and hid under big clothes from the men's department. How did this happen? I felt horrible, it seemed like everything hurt. It was tough to go down the stairs in the morning. My hands were always falling asleep, I winded at the slightest bit of physical exertion. I was always tired. I was weak. I was miserable. It was hopeless!

I had genetically inherited all the worst of my family. I looked in the mirror of my future. I was looking at weight problems, diabetes, knee and hip replacement, arthritis, heart attack! I became more and more depressed. I joined the local gym but I wasn't getting results.

I went to the gym less and less. What was the point anyway? On the odd occasion that I did hit the gym, I would read the fitness magazines and dream about having a perfect body. I remember a before and after story of a woman that got into incredible shape after participating in a contest at her gym. I would be happy to look like her before picture, but I recognized in her story, the depression of losing herself in body that she wasn't comfortable with.

All I needed ...was a contest to kick me into gear. But there was no contest, I was never very competitive anyway...my future remained bleak.

Two weeks later, flyers around the gym announced a body challenge! It was only 8 weeks. I decided that I was going to do it. Danielle, the personal trainer/dietitian at the gym, took my measurements and weight. I was shocked at those numbers! I needed to do this!

She then helped me figure out my workouts and showed me how to eat correctly. I kept a journal of everything I ate. I recorded all my workouts and how I was feeling. I hurt so much the first week, but I was so proud of myself for sticking out the pain, that it fueled my determination. Now I was interested in seeing how far I could push myself, and could I push harder than the others, and actually win this contest?

I ate lots of protein, fruits and vegetables. No more processed or fast foods. No more soda. I cooked basic food, it tasted good and I was starting to actually feel good! My diet was clean and it made all the difference. My clothes started to hang on me. My body shrank and I felt stronger. By the end of the 8 weeks, I had lost 25 lbs. and reduced my body fat by 14%!

I won the contest, I got some prizes. I didn't redeem the prize certificates for months, because the real prize was winning my life back! I got to enjoy clothes shopping again, I felt good, no more pain in the morning! I won some personal training sessions with Danielle, and she really helped me tone up.

I'm 44, and I'm still not thin by magazine standards. But I am down 40 lbs. from that desperate day that I signed up to challenge myself, and my body fat is in a healthy range. I didn't need to shed half my total weight to feel like I lost a whole person. I did lose a whole person...the sad, unhealthy person that weighed me down. If I didn't lose that 40 lb."person", I'm sure I would have continued to become bigger, unhealthier, and more depressed.

I'm not sure I could've battled something of that size.

Karen

"Metamorphosis has been instrumental in helping me maintain a healthy lifestyle. Danielle's not your average dietitian, telling you what you can and cannot eat, it's not her style, instead, she shows you how to be smarter with your meals. You can take this to the bank - she lives this stuff!"

"A custom and personalized fitness program designed for ME and MY needs by certified fitness trainer. Cool! Danielle has the ability to help me realized that I can do things that I didn't think I could do! She is strong, dedicated and devoted to my personal fitness."

"I needed more energy and a better nutrition plan. I've always been leery of gyms so I was skeptical. Danielle at Metamorphosis is EXCELLENT! I've been exercising and eating right for over three months now and I fell GREAT. I'm the type of person who really enjoyed crappy food and I was surprised to find that the Clean Plate© plan works so easily with my lifestyle."

"I was passing by one day and I saw Metamorphosis and thought that I should stop in and I'm glad I did. I travel and hour and twenty minutes to the studio because it's worth it. Danielle has shown me how to live a life that's healthy and one that I can feel good about. She not only trains you, she's motivating and inspirational. In fact, I don't consider her my trainer, she's my friend and this comfort helps me reach my daily goals of fitness and nutrition.

I have always been thin, heavy, thin, heavier, kinda thin, heavier still but the last 10 years, the heaviest for me. I am 42 yrs. old and last spring I was getting more tired and "tired of" but didn't have the energy to do anything about it. I was looking through the newspaper and saw Danielle's ad "6 Week Body/Mind Transformation Challenge." I was so intrigued I called her right away. A personal trainer and dietitian in one - exactly what I wanted! I've always wanted quick results but finally realized there is no "magic pill." I also have read about making a "lifestyle change." My attitude about that was, let me get the weight off and I can deal with it on my own after that. Well, obviously "my own" wasn't working. I am not a big meal-eater, just a grazer - all throughout the day. I talked to Danielle and enrolled in the challenge. She told me in six weeks I could lose 12 lbs. I thought if it wasn't 18-20 lbs. I wouldn't be happy. I also am not a big exercise person, but I truly liked what I was hearing and decided to give it my all. Well, six weeks later I had lost 18 lbs. of body fat, gained 6 lbs. of muscle and lost exactly 12 lbs. on the scale. I was so excited! I wasn't feeling like the six weeks were over and now I could go back to my old ways - I knew I wasn't going to do that! I had so much more energy and no food cravings. I didn't walk around like I was suffering and deprived. I was the "winner" of that challenge and Danielle offered me her "booty camp." Not for me, I thought. Then I decided to not wimp out and try it. I absolutely loved it. It was six weeks of one day a week, one hour (6 a.m.!) intense exercise and a nutrition plan. It is now roughly 24 weeks later (if I had known that in the beginning I don't know how I would have felt). I can say there have been about 5 weeks total I haven't given it "my all." I have now lost 39 lbs. of fat, gained 10 lbs. of muscle, lost 29 lbs. on the scale and lost about 30 overall inches. I have 11 scale lbs. to go. I do not plan to eat/exercise differently than I have been. Danielle is wonderful - not intimidating or judgmental, only truly sincere, honest and encouraging. If you feel you're ready to make the commitment to yourself for yourself- GO FOR THIS!! It is great to put my (smaller, new) clothes in the dryer for the first time in years and still have them a little baggy - what a feeling!! ~ Kim Authored
